This Week’s Rediscovered Realms Theme Song:
A hero stands on the edge of darkness, where shadows fall and silence reigns. But the light is coming. Rise of Dawn is a cinematic instrumental journey from resolve to revelation - an orchestral anthem of courage, hope, and hard-won triumph.
| Genre: Inspirational Cinematic Fantasy Score | Instrumental (No Lyrics)|

THE NEWS:
Here’s a fun one - MythicalMeats.com created Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer’s Rations (Jerky snack sticks of different meats!)
Speaking of new D&D merch, Sirius Dice is releasing its second series of D&D Mini Dice Cups in September!
9 new figures, including Guenhwyar & Vecna. Blind box with different rarities.
This Lord Soth looks pretty epic, indeed:
Archaeologists in Scotland have discovered the largest Neolithic wood hall ever found in the country alongside a hoard of Bronze Age weaponry, including a gold spearhead!
This is something I discovered a couple weeks back and pre-ordered to help make 2026 as adventure-filled as possible. It’s called “365 Adventures: The Dungeon” - a solo daily dungeon delve game calendar that sounds pretty fun!
“Each 365 Adventures title offers a thrilling narrative that unfolds one day at a time. Every morning (or lunch break, or bedtime), you’ll take just five minutes to move your hero, roll some dice, and face the challenge of the day. It’s a low-pressure, high-reward way to add a little game time to your daily routine... all year long.”

Ever feel like life gets out of your control? From The Sunday Magazine comes this insightful gaming article: “From warzones to lockdown, board games can give a sense of control amid the chaos”
[on WW I soldiers playing boardgames in the trenches] "There's a reason they were doing that, and I think it's because it provides a really, really important thing that humans need, which is relief and escape and freedom," said Clare.
Want to spice up your D&D sessions with sexy monsters? A new Kickstarter, Pinup Monster Girls 5.5e gives you the stats, hooks & hook-ups for 15 pinup-style monster girls!
“Enter the Pinup Plane and get wrecked (or romanced) by monster girls built to charm and crush your party.”
Talking old-school fantasy art before it became tame & brandified, Grognardia just published this excellent blog post: “Dungeons & Dreamscapes”
“There was a visual lawlessness to early D&D (and to roleplaying games more broadly) that mirrored the creative freedom of its rules. That freedom invited players to imagine fantasy worlds that were not simply adventurous, but also surreal, grotesque, and deeply personal.”
This just arrived at my door last week but I haven’t had the time to create a space for it. “Funko Pop Town: The Lord of The Rings - Elrond with Rivendell” is AWESOME!
It’s actually a decent size (not for Elrond - he’s meant to admire his hometown from afar!) I LOVE the style they did for Rivendell. Will definitely be gracing my desk for the foreseeable future!
(Currently on sale on Amazon)
So, of course, Amazon shows me these other Lord of The Rings Pops, which I didn’t know about (and also on sale!)

“Incendio!” These wands literally cast fireballs!
“Impress your friends by showing off your wizarding skills with your fireball wand”
For Mythology fans, there is an upcoming pocket-sized series called, “Joseph Campbell Essentials” which I’m really excited about. There are currently 3 editions in the series on Amazon: “On the Hero’s Journey”, “On Bliss”, and “On Love”.

As readers here know, I’m a huge champion of Imagination & Play for adults. It’s something critical to our wellbeing that we often put aside or lose track of in our hyperactive lives. To support that claim, here’s an excellent short article based on a recent study about Play: “Are You Playful?”
A recent study found playful people are more optimistic and manage stress better.
“Playfulness is a great way to respond to challenges—not by denying hardship, but by refusing to let it define us.”
Your next piece of fantasy fun is calling.

That completes this Phantasy Snitch edition of Rediscovered Realms, Inquisitive Adventurer.
Until next week - Keep the Adventure (and Fun) Going STRONG!
(And probably don’t buy that Incendio wand - you’ll shoot your eye out, kid.)
You are not only brave, but a Generous Adventurer whose love of Discovery, Imagination & Fun transcends our mere mortal coils . . .
. . . and for that, I thank you!
