We’ve entered the final 3 months of Rediscovered Realms’ celebration giveaway contests. With October blowing in, it felt fitting to have Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer join us . . .
LOL - that would be fantastic, Guy! Whether you win or someday buy the book yourself, you NEED to let me know if you ever use those recipes with clients. (Since you're a chef, I'm going to reveal a little secret to you: the final 2 giveaways in November & December will also include a different cool fantasy cookbook!)
Nice. I have the Dragonlance recipes featured in Leaves from the Inn of the Last Home from the 80s so far, but I’d like to expand. Ideally, I’d like to make an all fantasy menu and then tell the clients the provenance after they’ve enjoyed it. I can see this working with Tolkien, but not so much with Robert E Howard…
Guy: "Well, today, we have some crushed Pictish quail eggs, Kush roadrunner legs, and for dessert you will dine on some freshly plucked Nemedian wizard eyes, while their captive wives regale us with their wails ..."
That will be so cool to have an all-fantasy menu. Keep me in the loop. The Inn of the Last Home cookbook is great, but I've got a couple different ones going into the mix.
Thanks, brother. Dude - your Substack and YT channel are badass - just subscribed to both! It looks like I've got a ton of your content to catch up on. I'm pretty slammed for the next couple weeks, but have you on my list to revisit.
Oh I need these books. I keep trying to get through the series borrowing from the council library, but between the endless waitlists, constant child interruption and returning the books unread, I think I'm about halfway through the third. My own set that I can read at my leisure sounds ideal.
Oh wow. Sounds like you need these books - and a quiet reading nook, Matthew! I may be able to help you with the first one, but you're on your own for the second!
This is so cool!
Thanks Chelsea!
Good luck everyone
Welcome, Sarah!
This is an awesome giveaway! I’ll have to find the cookbook and add it to our shelf!
Thanks, Phronsie! The cookbook is quite fetching. 👩🍳
Love this good luck
Thanks Jennifer!
First time seeing this website looks awesome glad I found yall
Glad you found us, Margaret - welcome!
Can't wait to win
Welcome Raynoldo!
Can't wait to win
I can’t imagine what the cookbook might contain, but I’m keen to find out. I’m also a chef, so I might sneak some Witcher recipes to my clients….

Great giveaway and great content!
Thank you & Welcome, Hand of Doom!
Witcher 3 is my all time favorite video game, never read the books so this is a great opportunity ^^
Thanks Karlo, I appreciate that! Sounds like that Witcher 3 video game is a fan favorite.
That’s a nice book set, I hope it’s as nice in person!
LOL - your Jedi mind tricks have no sway here, Evil Dungeon Master. But good luck, anyway!
I have no earthly idea what you are talking about. ;)
😵
in all seriousness… great content.

oh thanks, I am honored! I do a lot of old school gaming on my YT and podcast. Enjoy! :)
Wow cool prize. Did not know there was a Witcher Monopoly game though.
Me neither, Rob! It actually looks really cool with its customized game pieces and themed properties.

I discovered the first of these books several years ago but didn't keep up with them. Having the box set would be awesome!
Right on, Gilbert! I'm happy folks are excited over these books.
I really love the witcher games!!!
I need to revisit those. I played one a few years back on my iPad and loved it. Seems like from what others say, all the games are great.
Wow! This is a crazy cool prize!
Someone is going to be one happy fan if they win!
Thanks Dave! After I assembled these items for a photo I was REALLY tempted to keep them all for myself! 😁 (Thanks for the restack, too)
Haha I bet!
And my pleasure!
