The Great Adventure Survey of 2025
An annual gathering of Adventurers to shape the Realms
Hear ye, Adventurers - gather round the fire. The torches are lit, the circle is formed, and once again the yearly conclave of heroes begins. Welcome to the gathering where your voices shape the quests to come, where we chart the road ahead together, and where the Great Adventure Survey opens its grand old scroll for another turning of the seasons—complete this year with a small treasure set aside for one lucky participant of the council.

Hail, and Well Met!
Another change of seasons . . . another chapter of our long trek nearly complete.
The fire crackles, the tankards clink, and once again we gather at the tavern table to swap stories of quests attempted, quests survived, and quests we absolutely meant to get to but a goblin-horde of real-life obligations ambushed us on the road.
Thank you, Adventurer, for traveling beside me.
Rediscovered Realms is about to finish its third year - three full circuits around the sun with a new issue every week, never missing a beat (or a beatdown). And as we march boldly toward Year Four, I want to make sure the next leg of our journey is shaped with your map, your compass, your sense of wonder.
I had grand plans for 2025: more books, more fantasy products, more music albums, more interviews, and more interactive adventures with each of you. But as the old saying goes, “The wheel weaves as the wheel wills,” and this year the Wheel decided to occupy me like an ever-spawning side quest. Work, home, life . . . all worthy quests, but demanding ones.
Which brings me to you.
Before we set off on the next year’s adventure, I’d love your guidance. What content do you enjoy most? What would you like to see more of? Less of? What sparks your imagination? Your answers to the poll below will help shape the Realms as we forge ahead.

🧭 THE GREAT ADVENTURE SURVEY
I. Your Fantasy Tastes & Tribes
Every hero comes from somewhere. Tell me which realms you hail from and what banner you fly in the great tapestry of fantasy.
II. Why You Journey to Rediscovered Realms
Every Adventurer has a reason for returning to the fire. Tell me what draws you back through the tavern door each week.
III. Content You Want More (or Less) Of
The Realms are vast, and many paths wind outward from this fire. Help me chart which trails you wish to explore more deeply - and which may be allowed to fade into the mist.
IV. Art, Artists & Creative Quests
From ancient scrolls to sketchbooks of wandering illustrators, the Realms thrives on imagination. Share what kinds of art and creative quests stir your spirit.
V. Songs, Snitches & Strange Musings
From weekly melodies to mischievous broadsheets and meta-fantasy ponderings, the Realms offer many small delights. Share which of these sparks you most enjoy.
VI. Deep Fandom Indicators
Certain Adventurers (I won’t name names) swear fealty to particular realms—D&D, Conan, LOTR, and others besides. Declare which legacies call to your heart the loudest.
VII. Format & Medium Preferences
Every Adventurer has a preferred way to receive the lore—carved on stone, sung aloud, or whispered by crystal orb. How do you like your stories delivered?
VIII. Creative Identity & Future Offerings
Many a traveler yearns not just to wander the Realms, but to create within them. Tell me where you stand on the path—and whether you seek new quests of your own.
IX. Giveaways & Rewards
A bit of treasure never hurts morale. Let me know how much the prospect of relics, loot, and magical baubles brightens your journey.
X. (Optional) Final Question
Before the fire dims, share any last visions, wishes, or wild ideas for what the Realms might become in the year ahead.
35. What kinds of new creations or features would you love to see in future Rediscovered Realms editions?
(Respond in the comments below!)
As the fire burns low and the last embers swirl into the night, know that your voice truly helps shape the road ahead. Every answer in the poll is another torch lit on our shared path - another spark of imagination carried into a new year of quests, curiosities, and rediscoveries.
Until next time, chart boldly and wander well, Far-Seeing Adventurer—

Features on particular monsters and how they are dealt with differently in various games or in versions of the same game. Including a focus on the art for them
An idea is to have a review of contemporary fantasy works, those published now, be them rpgs, novels, games. This could put under the lights some new authors (like me...) to your audience!
May the fun be always at your table!
