Great post. These are awesome. Like you, I only found them as adults. Forest of Enchantment is particularly good as you get a real sense of adventure as two relatively passive characters, a bard and a druid, have to take on Warduke, Kelek and a lizardman army. I found myself really wondering how they would do it.
Treasure of Time is fun too. I loved Strongheart's bowl-style knight's haircut, which would have looked super uncool in the long-haired 80s, but was realistic.
The biggest tragedy is that marvel didn't make more of these.
