April’s Phantasy Snitch delivers a whirlwind of fantasy news—Conan’s return, LOTR LEGO Erebor, new Harry Potter pinball, fairy smut origins, RPG buzz, and more. Come explore the realms.
I'm excited to see how the new Conan movie will turn. That Tolkien desk auction would be another "if I won the lottery I wouldn't say anything but there would be signs".
There is a similar cursed ring story in the Nibelungenlied (Norse mythology) which also features a tarnkappe (invisibility cloak) and a hero who is mostly immortal except for a leaf-shaped spot on his back. There is also a female protagonist that is frozen in time who can be brought back with a kiss, but unlike Disney, females in Norse mythology are actually really strong warriors and not damsel in distress.

Along with a round green doorway, Eric, right?
For sure haha, win the lottery and we'll just create our own Hobbiton
Lottery win! Acquire Tolkien's desk...I am with you there.
Well, don't forget about poor lil' ol' me, when you both win the lottery!
Another great article of news! Conan! Yay!
Right?! I have to hold my excitement in check, though, as I've been mightily disappointed by most fantasy fare in recent years. Here's to hoping!
So looking forward to the Conan movie...the Horse Woman looks nothing like a Centaur.
You're right. There was neigh a resemblance. (She could probably use some "neigh-r" hair removal cream, though.

That's cool, Jim! Sounds like maybe that's the cloak that Sheila wound up with.
