ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mauricio Herrera, known online as “elgrimlock” (or El-Grimlock), is a freelance fantasy and science-fiction illustrator whose work has appeared in video games, trading card games, roleplaying games, and digital publishing projects. Over a professional career spanning more than two decades, he has created artwork for properties and publishers including God of War, World of Warcraft, Pathfinder, Android: Netrunner, Hearthstone, Solforge, Legends of the Cryptid and Street Fighter the Miniature Game, among others.
Known for his dynamic compositions, vibrant colors, powerful dragons, heroic warriors, and striking fantasy characters, Herrera has built a large following through his online galleries and professional illustration work.
