Dude! I hadn't heard of that band and looked them up based on your comment. They are REALLY good! (And you're right about how that style is similar to this week's song).
Interesting find. Ive never heard of this series. It looks very Fighting Fantasyeque. Marato could be a really good artist. But any series based on coinflipping....

Wow that’s a really cool book! The art is fantastic. I love sci fi and fantasy equally, so I’m always happy when I find either type of book.
Agreed, Robin! Do you have any sci-fi art favorites?
neither have i ever heard of this book series, however Flip a Coin in the Lizardmen Swamp reminds of a song by Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats

LOL, Kveto. Yeah, the coin-flipping mechanic may have wound up not be the best (I haven't tried it, but do appreciate the creativity).
Every once in a while I come across an Esteban Maroto fantasy piece that I am usually impressed with. This cover rocks!
The artist understood that a man’s head in a lion’s body should be extremely upsetting to look at. Five stars.
I think you nailed it, Gregory! Perfect word, too - "unsettling".
