I sorely miss the classic era of fantasy fiction and invention founded by Gygax and Arneson, and the rediscovery of Tolkien's legendary realms. Together with the inceptive artwork of Sutherland III and Trampier, the emanations of D&D inspired dreams and nightmares that continue to fire my creativity to this day. Images like this prize pack really take me back.

I hear you, Nicholas. There were some attempts here and there with a smattering of products (the character stats in the DVD boxed set as one example), but never a distinct dedicated product line, like you said - unless you count the old Dungeon! boardgame that was re-skinned with the kids!
