This week, Rediscovered Realms delves into a lost treasure from the annals of fantasy art: The Fallen, a 10-page comic masterpiece written and illustrated by the legendary Larry Elmore. Originally published in 1998 within the pages of “Frank Frazetta Fantasy Illustrated”, this evocative story has remained hidden from many eyes - until now. Prepare to journey through a realm where honor clashes with destiny, and the echoes of fallen heroes still whisper through the ages.
Thats quite interesting, JQ. Like most dnd fans my age, Larry Elmore is one of my favourite artists.
Interstingly, you can see that his style works best in cover art and paintings, etc. He doesnt really convey comic book style action/movement well. Which is fine, since he stuck to cover art, knowing what he does best.
I loved the old Forgotten Realms comics! I may have to check out the new Pathfinder ones.
They're a real treat! Highly recommended.

The still art is amazing.
Thanks for sharing! I missed this work by Elmore while it is worth to own a copy!
