Anyone want to go in on the LOTR record? LOL. I listen to that soundtrack almost daily. These props are super cool, and there is so much lore behind them. They certainly bring verisimilitude to the movies, but also they are seemingly memory cues for us viewers. I instantly recall dialog and the actors who delivered the lines with one glimpse of these props.

Definite memory cues for me as well, Jim. It's sort of sad to me though that whoever collected all these treasures are now of an age where they're willing to pass them on to other collectors. The cycle must go on, I guess.

1) I would love to own the Monty Python book.

2) The movies that have always held my a place in my memory forever are The Beastmaster and Krull.

3) I do own replicas of Drizzt’s two scimitars (though people will say they are not scimitars since they don’t have any curve to them).

Monty Python book, Beastmaster & Krull - all epic and worthy in my opinion.

That's cool you have Drizzt's scimitars (that's what I always called them!) - are they full sized?

Yes they are full sized. Made with real sturdy metal.

Such great movies! I still love many of them. And 13th Warrior has always been awesome. Period. 😊😊😊😊

Nice find of this auction list and lovely reminiscences! As they say, “I wouldn’t tell anyone if I won the lottery… but there would be signs!” ⚔️
