Do you love fantasy illustrations as much as I do? Then you’ll love this week’s adventure as Rediscovered Realms explores Luke Eidenschink’s latest Collected Drawings Portfolio.
For those of you who don’t know him, Luke is an award-winning illustrator who works with ink on paper. His art has been featured in many books and other media, and his influence is only growing.
His kung-fu is strong.
I love seeing Luke share his process on his social media accounts. His illustrations are truly astounding, and he frequently shows video clips of his technique. It’s magic to watch.
So, when I saw a Kickstarter for his new collection of drawings, I knew I had to get it.
And boy, his book doesn’t disappoint.
I’m only sharing a small sampling of what he included, but know that he has over 140 illustrations in this volume!
BTW: Luke is no stranger to Rediscovered Realms.
We did an in-depth interview with him not too long back that includes a slew of his other outstanding fantasy illustrations not found in this article!
Luke is a Fantasy fan through and through. In the introduction of his latest volume, he reflects & reveals that his work is unified by 2 themes:
A sense of wonder
A love of adventure
This is why Luke is a guy after my own heart.
Luke continues to evoke the Heroic . . .
And the Monstrous! . . .
And sometimes even the Provocative . . .
But always with an eye and hand to the excitement and fun of Fantasy . . .
Well done, Luke! Thank you for sharing your vision & talent with the world. Keep the Adventure going Strong, my friend!

That looks an amazing book of fantastic artwork. Might look to treat myself this month!🤔😁
Those 50th anniversary figures look good. I’ve still got some of the old Ral Partha and Grenadier ones kicking about from back in the day. I don’t play anymore but if the new figures are that cool, I might need to buy them for old times sake!
